Better Life Home Health Welcomes Michelle Ustik as Director of Nursing

February 2, 2022 (Summerfield, Fla.) – Better Life Home Health welcomes Michelle Ustik as the new Director of Nursing.

Michelle, a registered nurse, with over 27 years of experience in the medical field including 17 years as an RN, 24 years as an EMT and, certified as a Wound Care Specialist. Michelle has worked in various fields of nursing which include emergency medicine, surgical, and home health. She has performed in many roles which include working in the field, as an educator, clinical manager, and Director of Nursing.

“I believe in being a team player, supporting and giving my fellow co-workers 110 percent all of the time,” said Michelle. “I truly believe what you put into your role is what you will get out of it. Taking care of people and treating them like family is what I do.”

The Better Life Home Health team has helped many people get back on their feet after recovering from orthopedic surgery, a fall, or a cardiac or neurological event by working together with their physicians, health systems, and families. Better Life recently enhanced its current offerings of in-home, speech, and physical therapy services, and expanded to provide wound care, medical social work services, etc. to help people live their best life with Better Life.

Better Life Home Health is a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and is licensed to provide care in Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Sumter, Suwannee, and Union counties in Florida.
